Safety & undo

Everything goes to the Trash

Smart Clean, App Uninstaller, and file finders move items to the Trash — never permanent delete (except Permanent Delete in More Tools, which you must confirm file-by-file).

Use Cleanup History to see exactly what was moved, then Open Trash to drag anything back.

FAQ

Why does macOS ask for Full Disk Access? Only if you enable it in Settings to scan shared system caches. Default mode is home-folder only.

Is Launch Item Review antivirus? No — it lists unsigned or quarantined startup items for review. Unsigned is common for dev tools.

Mac App Store? The full app is distributed here because sandbox rules limit deep cleaning. Direct download is intentional.
